Ms. Avetisyan was announced as the 2021 Fast Pitch Awardee at the prestigious Music Academy of the West. She will curate and sing for a Recital Series: " Sing Armenia 107" to honor the music and history of the Armenian Diaspora.

The 1915 Armenian Genocide displaced survivors around the world and diminished Armenian land from once bordering the black sea to being landlocked.
This film "Call to the Sea" is a visual and musical representation of the longing to return home of Armenian refugees.
